What is Hydro Excavation?

The Safer and Cleaner Way to Excavate

Hydro excavation is the modern, non-destructive and non-mechanical method of excavation services. This process utilizes pressurized water, and an industrial-strength vacuum. The water and vac work simultaneously to excavate and evacuate small rock, soil and debris.Once the soils have been removed into a debris tank, crews are able to safely locate underground utilities. This allows the crews to have visual confirmation of all utilities in the given bore path.

This process was designed to make the job of exposing utilities safer, for both the crews doing the work, and the communities we serve. Using traditional excavation methods can cause damages of existing utilities, and can lead to flooding, fire, and power outages. These types of accidental destructions can be dangerous to the community and very expensive for the customer.

Our non-destructive method of utility location aids in preventing complications. Hydro excavation is extremely precise. It creates a safe, fast, and cost-effective alternative to traditional excavating techniques.

Because Safety and Efficiency is at the core of our culture, we hydro excavate ALL utilities prior to drilling.
